Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a revolutionary, pain-free method of assisted stretching that targets the Neuromyofascia. Simply put it targets the nerves, muscles and connective tissues that surround them. FST works whole lines of muscles and fascia targeting many different angles. The utilization of traction provides space in the joint for pain-free movement.
For individuals with old injuries, sub-optimal movement patterns, or losing mobility as you age, FST can reverse old damage, and prevent new injuries.
In as little as 1-3 sessions, FST has been shown to significantly:
Reduce pain and soreness
Reduce risk of injury
Improve mobility and increase range of motion
Improve performance
Improve overall circulation
Improve quality of sleep and energy levels
Decrease joint compression, impingements and more!

More traditional methods of static stretching or other methods of assisted stretching focus on stretching one muscle group at a time. These methods end up with the client often in more pain and seeing temporary results.
FST is more gentle and focuses on regulating the nervous system. The body is an incredible powerhouse and has a natural ability to heal itself. Utilizing this method will enhance your body’s ability to do what it does best: HEAL!!!
By taking an approach that decreases inflammation, we prevent the creation of new adhesions and scar tissue. This produces a long lasting result that only becomes more effective the more you do it.
If you have ever left a massage or chiropractor feeling good in the moment, only to find yourself in the same pain and body position hours to days later? With FST we affect the WHOLE body system with a root cause approach to produce lasting results.
FST is performed with CLOTHES ON, allowing for this treatment to be done virtually anywhere, while maintaining personal comfort.

Functional movement is the way the body was designed to move most optimally. Due to modern day life, injuries, and aging, we become stuck and restricted in our bodies. This creates compensatory ways of moving that create more imbalances in the body. These imbalances are the causes of many chronic pains, repeat injuries, repetitive strains, low energy, headaches, and more.
Functional movement rewires the brain-body connection and trains the body to move efficiently.

Reiki is a form of energy work created in Japan. Derived from the words Rei, meaning “universal” and Ki, meaning “life energy”. In this healing modality the practitioner utilizes hands on and off the body techniques to channel this energy into the recipient.
Reiki helps by regulating and calming the nervous system and bringing the client into a more relaxed state so that their own body can heal more effectively.
Reiki has been shown to:
Decrease pain
Improve sleep
Improve mood
Decrease tension and stress
Decrease anxiety and more

This is YOUR session so ask questions and inform your practitioner of any physical complaints or challenges you face.
You will complete an intake form detailing your medical and surgical history, medications etc. This will aid your practitioner in creating a safe and effective treatment plan
Your practitioner will take you through a targeted assessment to evaluate and develop a treatment plan specific to your needs, goals, and time commitment
Sessions will begin with FST table work and progress to Functional Movement if indicated.
Functional movement will include working on a mat for a portion of the session, your provider will have one for you or you can use your own if you choose. Floor work and standing work are vital to rewiring the brain-body connection and carrying new movement patterns/ body-awareness into your daily life.
For Reiki sessions, you will be on the massage table and have hands on or off energy work where the practitioner will utilize a variety of movements and holds. Many recipients report deep relaxation during sessions.

You will be provided after each session with exercises and stretches that you can continue at home to maintain and enhance the improvements achieved during your sessions
After your session, drink lots of water and REST. The work releases toxins from deep in the muscles and it is important to flush all of these waste products out of the system. Just like you have to hydrate after a deep-tissue massage it is critical to avoid soreness after a session
Soreness will vary based on your prior level of activity: active individuals will typically not feel any soreness after a first session, whereas sedentary individuals may feel mild soreness the first 24-48 hours after their initial session. This will improve and lessen after each session.
To allow your body to integrate the new ways of moving and the new range of motion it is important to rest after sessions.
After your session we will discuss the treatment frequency and book sessions accordingly: Every BODY is different, every condition is different, everyone responds differently to treatments. Given individual variations this will determine how frequently someone should come in for a session. Some will benefit from once a week whereas others will need every other week or monthly.
Best results come from consistency!!!
